Raph has always had a
passion for historic weapons
combat. He is a full-time
professional fencing coach,
theatre and film fight director
and HEMA enthusiast.
Introduced to medieval and
renaissance weaponry from
performance combat, Raph
began researching European
Martial Arts in 2004. His
primary focus is weapons and
manuscripts from the
medieval period.
Khelan is a modern sport
fencing coach with over 7-
years of competitive
experience. He was
introduced to HEMA two-years
ago focusing mainly on the
longsword from the Italian
School.
In addition to his coaching,
Khelan is also a qualified and
experienced fencing referee
and has presided at various
